Founded on a shared passion for sci-fi aesthetics, conceptual art and 1970s car design, Ammitzbøll Winther was established by Frederik Ammitzbøll and Kristian Winther as an outlet for manifesting their ideas into physical (and metaphysical) objects. They met while studying architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and individually their careers have spawned award winning architecture and genre-defining music albums.

Ammitzbøll Winther creates objects in the field between product design, art and industrial manufacturing. The studio is based in Copenhagen.
